Building our home with Haws Homes was an exceptional experience from start to finish. This was our first custom home build, and the first modern home project for Haws Home, a complex, high-risk design with no room for shortcuts. The result exceeded our expectations in every way.
The level of precision and attention to detail is immediately apparent; clean lines, open floor plan, and a thoughtfully engineered structure that feels both elevated and welcoming.
Nathan was incredibly present and communicative throughout the entire process. We were in near-daily communication, and he consistently anticipated challenges before they became issues, often identifying solutions before we were even aware of a concern, minimizing impact to the budget and timeline. My wife and I always felt heard and supported, and he provided clear guidance when decisions could impact budget, long-term durability, or the integrity of the build.
The craftsmanship truly sets this home apart. Custom features include a slat wall and custom handrail, bespoke waterfall desks in the office, hidden pantry self-closing door that seamlessly matches the cabinetry, a pass-through pantry entrance from the garage, and a modern master suite and master suite wet room with floor-to-ceiling tile. The large expanses in the living spaces required custom-engineered structural solutions, and the result is both stunning and sound. The home is filled with natural light from large, energy-efficient windows and the home incorporates many elements that align with a “healthy home” philosophy.
Nathan brings a rare combination of intelligence, patience, and professionalism. He researches thoroughly, identifies risks early, and collaborates closely with skilled craftsmen to execute designs at a very high level. The finished home feels more like a resort than a residence.
